Protection in Our Schools........

Many people these days wonder why there are more people being killed while they are at there jobs or at school. Should peple be able to have concealed weapons while they are on their work places or at school.
Having a concealed weapon can sometimes prevent some of these tragedies that happen to innocent people. It can be good but it can also be bad. I think it could be a really good thing in society today.
The good things in this would be that young people would feel safe and it would wipe away the fear out of the children that are at school and the young people that are on their job sites. I was told by one of my teachers that in the late 1960’s that a little kid had gone into the school that he went to and shot another one but while that was going on instead of just sitting by another teacher went and got his concealed gun from his car and came back in and pointed the gun at the kid who was shooting. I know he shouldn’t have done that but at least it made the kid stop and think. People think that it’s a bad thing for staff members to have concealed weapons but in this case it was good because the teacher was able to put a stop to the shooting.
We all have seen the news this past weekend with the shooting that happened in Connecticut. It was a sad situation with 20 students that was majority of kindigartens and 6 staff members that tried to protect the little elementary students at that school. The gunman had also shot his own mother early that morning. People ask why this man had done some horrible things to this school. But his reasoning was cause he believed that his mother loved those children much more than she had loved him.
Having a concealed weapon on school property is really not a bad idea. We need more protection in our school districts now.
